Unique Beachfront Vacation Home in Costa Rica
Casa Atrevida was completed by the San Jose based studio Luz de Piedra Arquitectos. This five bedroom, five bathroom eco-friendly vacation home is situated on a wooded plot next to Preciosa Beach in Puerto Jimenez, the largest town on the Osa Peninsula, Costa Rica.
This vacation home can accommodate up to 10 guests and can be booked all year round, the price is $2,100 – $3,500 per week, depending on the season.

“A vacation home and a study; ventured into the use of bamboo (Guadua), as a structural material earthquake resistant. Attractive material, from a short cycle of growth, therefore, with a smaller ecological footprint in this environment so rich into biodiversity matters. A roof garden is used to cool down and improve the integration to the landscape from the second level.
This house is located in Preciosa Beach, Puerto Jimenez, Osa Peninsula.
This is a recreational house, with its own care keepers studio. It was made with Bambu (Guadua) as the structural element, designed to be seismic resistant. An attractive material that has a short growing cycle, thus reducing carbon footprint in a forested area.”
