Rocking Chair No.1 by Brendan Gallagher

Canadian furniture designer Brendan Gallagher has been designing and exhibiting furniture for the last two years. The Rocking Chair No.1 is made of walnut and steel mesh, this piece is his first rocking chair design.

Here is a statement from the designer: “Charged with designing a piece of furniture based on the stylistic qualities of a fashion designer, I chose to look at Toronto based Bustle clothing for inspiration. Their combination of crisp silhouettes, patterns, and colorful highlights are apparent in what is my first ever rocking chair design.”
