Peaceful Retreat in Comporta, Portugal
Casa na Areia was completed in 2010 by the Lisbon based architect Aires Mateus. The project included the renovation of the masonry buildings, now individual rooms, one of the two wooden structures has been converted in to a two bedroom pavilion and the other a living space.
The complex is located in Comporta, a small village in the Grândola Municipality, Portugal.

“CasasNa Areia consists of four 30m2 (323 sq ft) double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and fully equipped amenities ideal for groups of up to 8. An open plan / dining area offers state-of-the-art lighting and sound system and services including swimming pool, high speed internet, iPod docking sound system, microwave oven, dish washer, coffee machine, cooking utensils, towels. A small utility room contains a washing machine and 4 bicycles for guests exclusive use. All bedding and linen is provided plus daily Mediterranean breakfast and midday maid service.”
