Casa Playa Las Lomas, Peru by Vértice Arquitectos
Casa Playa Las Lomas was completed in 2010 by the Lima based studio Vértice Arquitectos. This contemporary beach house was constructed on a rocky hill, 48 meters above the Lomas del Mar beach.
There were two main objectives of this project, the first was to maximize the amazing views of the beach and ocean from the outdoor social area. The second was to make the most of the available land, this was accomplished using large cantilevers.
The house has a 180 degree view of the Pacific Ocean to the south and a panoramic view of the beach to the north and the east.
This 2,567 square foot property is located in the first row, plot 5 (I-5) of a development in Lomas del Mar beach, Cerro Azul, 120km south of Lima.
